1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Notexo (notexo.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Continued use of Notexo after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
Notexo is a free, URL-first online notepad that allows users to create, edit, and share text documents. Public notes are accessible without an account. Registered users gain access to a private workspace with sharing controls, access permissions, and password protection.
3. Account Registration
Account registration is optional and only required for private notes. When registering, you must provide a valid email address and create a username. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Notexo to store, distribute, or share illegal content; harass, threaten, or defame others; send spam, phishing links, or malware; attempt unauthorized access to the service; or overload the service with automated requests. Notexo reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate this policy.
5. Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of any content you create on Notexo. By using the service, you grant Notexo a limited license to store and serve your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your notes.
6. Note Expiry & Data Loss
Notes with an expiry date are permanently and irrecoverably deleted when the TTL period ends. Notexo is not liable for any data loss resulting from note expiry, account deletion, or service interruptions. Users are responsible for backing up important content.
7. No Warranty
Notexo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Notexo and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
